Inspired by the world, guided by the heart

I grew up in a small Bavarian village near Lake Chiemsee – surrounded by mountains, meadows, and fresh country air. But my curiosity and wanderlust drew me out into the world early on.

Over the past few years, I have gained valuable experience in Ireland, England, Italy, Germany, and France โ€“ not only as a wedding planner and event manager, but also as a sommelier, restaurant manager, and in upscale cuisine. My time at the legendary Ashford Castle in Ireland was particularly formative, where, together with partner hotels, I was able to assist with over 70 exclusive weddings and events โ€“ experiences that have deeply shaped my passion for extraordinary destination weddings.

After many stops and several winter seasons in Lech/Zรผrs, life has led me to beautiful Vorarlberg. Here, I founded Katha Wedding in 2020 – with the desire to transform all my experience, my love for stylish details, and my great enthusiasm for organization into something that touches hearts.

My mission is to accompany couples on the way to their very personal dream wedding – individual, heartfelt, and unforgettable.

When we started planning our wedding on our own, we quickly realized that organizing a multi-day wedding without experience is nearly impossible. At first, we were full of enthusiasm and thought we could handle everything ourselves. However, it soon became clear that managing such a large-scale event alone was not feasible. So, we decided to limit our wedding to just one day โ€“ but even that quickly became overwhelming and took the joy out of planning.

We called her out of the blue one day and asked her if she would be willing to organize a tiny private wedding for us with 10 days' warning. She asked a couple of questions, confirmed that we were for real, and then simply said, โ€œOkay, letโ€ s do it.โ€œโ€

About a year ago, we actually stumbled upon โ€œKatha Weddingโ€ by chance. Right after the first meeting, we decided to plan our wedding with Katha's help. And we can only say one thing - we don't regret a second!

Katha knows everyone and everything! Whether it's selecting the venue, photographer, stylist, floral decorations, stationery, or even the priest, Katha always surprised us with her great (secret) tips. She is incredibly committed, always reachable for questions, and most importantly: She fully embraced our wishes and concerns.

Usually, a wedding involves quite a lot of stress. But since we were always relatively relaxed, some doubts arose shortly before whether we had thought of everything. Completely unnecessary - Katha had already organized everything perfectly!

On our โ€œbigโ€ day, she was there in the background from the very first second, allowing not only us but also our witnesses to simply enjoy the day without work and stress. From the floral decorations to the matching napkin rings - everything was perfect!

2025 โ€“ was fรผr ein Jahr! โœจ

Von Barcelona bis Bali, von London bis Sizilien โ€“ dieses Jahr war intensiv, international und einfach nur genial!

Im Januar startete ich mit einem Hochzeitsmeeting in Barcelona, gefolgt von einem unvergesslichen Februar in London, wo ich beim International Wedding Award in der Kategorie โ€žSpecial Touchesโ€œ den 2. Platz erreichen durfte โ€“ was fรผr eine Ehre! ๐Ÿ†

Im Mรคrz gingโ€™s auf Locationcheck nach Bali (ja, Traumlocations deluxe!) โ€“ und im April folgte gleich eine mehrtรคgige Hochzeit in Italien sowie ein groรŸartiges Firmenevent. Im Mai dann PS pur beim Porsche GT3 Event, gefolgt von unserer ersten Afterwork-Ausfahrt im Juni. Im August und September war ich auf Locationreise in Wien und Sizilien unterwegs โ€“ immer auf der Suche nach besonderen Orten fรผr besondere Paare.

Im Oktober stand die zweite Afterwork-Ausfahrt an, im November durfte ich auf einer Podiumsdiskussion als Speakerin sprechen (eine ganz neue, bereichernde Erfahrung) und im Dezember fand der stimmungsvolle Porsche Weihnachtsmarkt in Rankweil statt โ€“ mein persรถnlicher Jahresausklang mit Glanzmomenten. โœจ

Danke an alle, die 2025 zu einem so besonderen Jahr gemacht haben โ€“ Kund:innen, Partner:innen, Freund:innen. Ich bin bereit fรผr alles, was 2026 bringt!
